A PROFESSIONAL CHILD

I'm a professional child. So when I saw this video of a bunch of kids drawing vases, I knew I had to give it a go, but professionally. After some deep analysis of the video, you're only gonna need some oil pastels, acrylic paint and something pointy. I began making my own vases, but wanted to do more, so to develop this process, I made these sketches, but for the sake of show and tell, I'll just be using this one for example. I basically just did what the kids did in the video. However, instead of just making the whole thing one color, I did it in like segments instead. I then painted over the areas I wanted to like add texture to, and then started scraping away with the toothpick. It was such a lovely satisfying process, honestly. Ta-da! I really like it. However, I would like it even more if the background was a different color and also these grey parts were like black, basically. So because I'm too scared to fully commit to doing that on this piece of paper, I'm gonna do it all digitally. I just think it will look cleaner and nicer and just lovelier in general. So sorry for that. I made those grey bits black, like I said, and then started playing around with the background color. I chose this lovely red, uh, nice. I think it looked worked, that's all. And yeah, that's it. It's done. I did it. The weird scratching technique. Here is how the other ones turned out. Lovely as well, I think. Definitely give this a go. It was super satisfying.
