THIS BRIDGE SUDDENLY DISAPPEARS INTO THE SEA

This bridge suddenly disappears into the sea. Then they built one of the world's largest bridges which disappears in the sea. The Oresund Bridge connects Denmark and Sweden. It looks like an ordinary bridge until it suddenly goes underwater. And yes, this was planned very. A unique structure. Half bridge, half underwater tunnel. The reason is quite simple. This strait is one of the world's busiest maritime routes. But wasn't just ships. Nearby Copenhagen Airport. And a bridge with air. The solution turned out to be incredibly elegant. Danish side. The road goes along to Island. Island of Pebble. Specially created for this project. And then the bridge literally disappears. The route goes into a tunnel, four long and under the seafloor. Emerging only on the Swedish coast. But the most amazing thing is how this tunnel was actually built. They use giant concrete sections weighing 55,000 tonnes each.
