Original caption

Salem has Pacific Island food — but not like this. 🌴 Island Bitez is Salem’s newest island fusion food truck, brought to life by a Chuukese and Chuukese-Chamorro couple who moved here four years ago and wanted to share a piece of home with the community. Jordan has been cooking for over 15 years, and that passion is in every plate. What started as selling plates to family and friends grew into the food truck you see today. This is Pacific Island culture, family, and flavor — all in one spot. #pacificislanders #hawaiian #guam #salemoregon #island

This one hits home. They're bringing flavors you can't find anywhere else in Salem. But you wouldn't guess that they're fusing cultures together to bring you some crazy dishes. Like their coconut poke bowl, poke nachos, and their red rice spam musubi. Being from Hawaii, they brought traditions here to share. Therefore, this isn't just a food truck. It's a place where you can experience new fusions of island flavor. Send this to someone who loves island food.
