A little roughhousing goes a long way. It’s not just about having a laugh (although we definitely do 😂). Rough and tumble play can help with: 💪 Strength & movement 🧠 Body awareness & coordination 🫶 Confidence & bonding 👀 Learning reactions & boundaries 🗣️ Communication & social skills The way you play will obviously look different depending on your baby’s age and stage. What we do with our 1 year old wouldn’t be suitable for a much younger baby, so keep it age appropriate and let your little one guide you. Always support their head and neck when needed, keep things controlled and stop if they’re not enjoying it. And most importantly, have fun with it.
