Why it worked
The video leverages the 'Disney vs. Reality' trope, which is highly shareable and visually satisfying, by connecting a beloved fictional setting to a real-world travel destination.
Summary
The video compares a scene from the Disney movie Tangled to the real-life location of Mont-Saint-Michel in Normandy, France.
Structure
- 1Show laptop screen with Tangled scene
- 2Text overlay claims the location is fictional
- 3Transition to real-life footage of Mont-Saint-Michel
- 4Text overlay confirms the location exists
