Pro Cruiser Tip here and this is one of those little things you'll be so glad you packed. If you're bringing your reusable water bottle or cup on the cruise line's drink package, grab a sponge. Grab a sponge with you too. Here's my trick. Before you leave home, put a little dish soap on a sponge. Then cut the sponge into small pieces and let it dry completely. Toss that little soapy sponge into a small zip top bag. When it's time to clean your water bottle, just add a little water, use your little sponge to wash it out, rinse it out, and you're done. Because cruise cabins aren't exactly known for having a kitchen sink with a dish sponge sitting there waiting for you. Takes almost no room. And if you're wondering about packing the soapy sponge, since the soap is absorbed into a sponge rather than carrying a bottle of liquid, it's a convenient way to bring just what you need.
