You cannot truly put God first if you don’t know His Word. How can you follow His will if you don’t know what Scripture says? How can you obey His commandments if you never take the time to learn them? Putting God first is more than saying, “God is my priority.” It means knowing His Word, understanding His heart, obeying His commandments, and allowing Scripture to guide the way you live. You cannot follow a God you refuse to know. And you cannot say He is first while ignoring the Word He gave you. Read the Bible. Know His Word. Obey His commands. Live for Him.
