Finally asleep… 😴 You gently lower your baby into the crib and… Their eyes open again. 👀 It doesn’t always mean your baby “doesn’t want to sleep.” How you make the transition can matter too. Here are 7 things to watch for 👇 1️⃣ Don’t transfer them immediately Some babies are more sensitive to changes right after falling asleep. Waiting a little may help. 2️⃣ Don’t move too quickly The warmth and contact of your arms suddenly disappear. Keep your movements slow and calm. 3️⃣ Don’t lower their head first Support their body and lower their bottom and back first, followed by their head in a controlled way. 4️⃣ Don’t remove your hands immediately Once they’re down, keep a hand gently on their chest or body for a few moments. This may make the transition smoother. 🤍 5️⃣ Don’t start all over the second they open their eyes Opening their eyes doesn’t always mean they’re fully awake. Wait a few seconds — sometimes they may settle again. 6️⃣ If they keep waking up, ask Baby Signal Tell Baby Signal their age, last nap, how long they’ve been awake, and what happens when you put them down. 👶💬 Baby Signal looks at your baby’s sleep patterns, routines, and signals to help you understand why they may be waking and what to try next. 7️⃣ Don’t expect the same method to work for every baby What works for one baby may not work for another. The goal isn’t a “perfect transfer” — it’s to discover what helps your baby stay asleep more comfortably. 🌙💛 📲 iPhone: Search “Baby Signal App” on the App Store! 🤖 Android: Search “Baby Signal” on Google Play Store! #babycare #pregnantlife #newborn #babysleep #babylove
