If you didn't know, I'm Ghanaian. I'm fully Ghanaian, both my parents are Ghanaian. We're from uh, a tribe called the Degombes, yeah. And, I get a lot of questions, people always ask me, like, if you're a food reviewer, you review food content or whatnot. Why do you never go to, um, Ghanaian food places or you never do your own food? And to be quite honest with you, today, that was supposed to be like my content. So I live in Cape Hill. I live in Cape Hill. So there's about five or six, however many, right? The first one I go to, because I want like a proper meal. I don't just want like jollof and fried rice. No, like, I want a proper meal. So I wanted, uh, Banku with okra soup, right? Cool. I go into this first place and I ask for, uh, Banku with okra soup. They said that they don't have Banku. They said, okay, do you have T.Z.? No, we don't have T.Z. We have, um, Kenkey. Kenkey, you're not really supposed to eat Kenkey with okra soup. You can, some people do, but that's not really the best thing that I wanted to do. So I said, you know what, I can't do this. I'm not just gonna get the jollof because that doesn't demonstrate to people, you know, like, it's like the easy food. Like, I want proper, proper Ghanaian food. So I go to the next place. And I've been there before. It's like 8 o'clock. They're already closed, right? Then I think, all right, cool. There's another place that I know, right? I go there. They're not even open. So that's three different places. And I just thought to myself, people don't actually understand. It's not, it's not very easy for me to do, like, Ghanaian food places. And as much as I don't eat, I love Ghanaian food. So I'm making this video to say, yeah, that if you are like, a Ghanaian restaurant, and your food, you think your food is amazing. Let me know, guys, let me know. Let me know of a good Ghanaian food place to go to in Birmingham, right? I've been to one in Coventry that I love. It's called, uh, Afripot. Amazing food. The only problem is the interior, the inside, it just looks dreadful. But the food itself, amazing. Um, but when it comes to Ghanaian food in Birmingham, guys, I'm really struggling here. Genuinely, I'm really struggling. I would love to do a series about it, but I just don't know how I'm going to go to like, three different places, and I couldn't, like, you know what I'm trying to say? So, let me know guys, let me know.
