One of the worst parts of gaming on laptop is not having enough space for an actual setup. It's hard to use the keyboard, the mouse is running into the side, and you can never really hit that perfect angle you'd like to be at with your monitor. But I've got a solution you have to try. Step one: Right click your desktop and go to display settings. Go down to display orientation and select landscape flipped. If you did this part right, everything's gonna be upside down. This is a legal disclaimer. If you break your stuff, Goose and I are not liable. Don't eat that. Step two: Flip your laptop upside down. Now, this one does have a 5080, so we're gonna need a little extra beef to hold it still. Step three: Peripherals. Plug in your peripherals, launch your favorite game and get ready to sweat. Look at this. We've achieved basically perfect sweat angle with room for a keyboard, mouse, and a headset to sit on the desk, all while using a laptop. Now, a weird side effect you get from this is actually better cooling for your laptop because instead of sitting on a hard surface where the fans have to try and blow hot air against something, they're actually exhausting freely into the open. So this weird, inconvenient looking setup is actually pretty solid.
