He's a 2 years past that, and he walked off with a sardine before I finished making this. 🐟 One of my last ones didn't make it past eleven, and I spent that final year telling myself it was just his age. Here's the bowl. Pumpkin as the base. Pure fiber, settles the stomach, and it's what gets a picky dog to eat everything on top of it. Two raw eggs for complete protein, because this is what most owners get wrong with an older dog. He slows down so we feed him less, and the first thing his body gives up is muscle. 🥣 Then we watch him struggle on the stairs and call it age. It isn't age. And sardines for the omega-3s that go after the inflammation behind stiff hips and itchy skin. But here's the part nobody explains, and it's why the problem is already in the bowl.
