You’d never expect it, but a farm might be one of the most high-tech places you could visit. John Deere flew me out to Austin for the corn harvest to see all the tech in their machines. I got to drive a combine (childhood dream, unlocked), and experienced how these machines are packed with cameras, GPS, Starlink, and NVIDIA GPUs. AutoTrac steers along the exact GPS lines the planter drove months ago, machines stay in sync with a tap, and some run with nobody in the cab at all. You can manage it all from a phone! Farming is short on people and the average farmer is now over 58, so this tech lets a smaller crew carry the load. Also, I helped bring in enough corn for something like 67 million tortilla chips!!
