Save this one for your next Tahoe trip. 🍷🏔️ If friends were visiting us and asked where to grab a glass of wine with an incredible Tahoe view, The Idle Hour would be high on our list. It’s right on the lake in South Lake Tahoe, with outdoor seating, wine, small bites and the kind of view that makes it very easy to stay for another glass. 😂 And one of our favorite parts — it’s dog-friendly. 🐕 So yes, Bella and Becca get to join us while we enjoy the view. Apparently the charcuterie is their favorite part. Our recommendation? If you can, go later in the day and stay for sunset. 🌅 We’ve never actually caught sunset here ourselves yet, but it’s definitely on our list. It’s also a great change of pace if your Tahoe itinerary is packed with hiking, beaches and activities. Not every hour in Tahoe needs to be an adventure.
