Why it worked

The video likely worked due to its novelty and humor, combining a popular pet (dogs) with a relatable product (toothpaste) in an unexpected way (nail art). The use of a nail printer also adds a unique technological element that can capture attention.

Summary

The video shows a person using a nail printer to print an image of a dog with a large, smiling mouth, similar to a Colgate toothpaste advertisement. The person then presses a button on the machine, seemingly to finalize the nail art.

Structure

1Showcasing a nail with a dog and Colgate toothpaste design
2Displaying a screen with a dog and Colgate toothpaste advertisement
3Using a nail printer machine
4Printing the dog nail art
5Finalizing the nail art

Product placement

Colgate (a brand of toothpaste): it appears on a tube and on the nail art. Removing it would not change what happens in the video.
