On-screen text
What a privilege...
To feel the kicks from the inside.
To wonder who they'll be
before you've even seen their face.
To be exhausted because your body
is growing a whole new life.
To be scared of birth because you're about
to meet someone you already love.
To hear that first cry.
To hold the little person you've been waiting for.
And one day, to miss the version of you
who carried them this close.
It isn't always easy.
It isn't always beautiful.
But to be there for their beginning...
what a privilege.
