Why it worked

The video masterfully blends humor with a deeply emotional narrative, creating a strong emotional resonance that drives engagement. The use of relatable cat memes and a surprising plot twist makes the content highly shareable.

Summary

A father initially tells his daughter there are only 10 months in a year, but a nurse corrects him, explaining there are 12. The video then shifts to a more emotional tone, revealing the daughter is terminally ill and her biggest wish is to be present for her father's birthday. The father asks for help to maintain the illusion, and they take pictures to preserve memories.

Structure

1Dad's incorrect statement about months
