i’ve cracked the code (but not really…) *don’t worry Tom really loves his mom ps — I know there really are unsafe therapists out there who gaslight, manipulate, or dismiss their clients, and I know this joke might land differently for someone who’s experienced that. I don’t want to make light of those experiences. This is a satirical skit about something I would never actually do with a client - the absurdity of blaming a client for my own yawn is the joke. Gaslighting in therapy is real, harmful, and not funny.
