obviously this not true for everyone with MCAS, but for me, showering is one of the hardest tasks I have to do. even with all of the medications i’m currently on to manage symptoms, i know that a shower means i’m going to have an MCAS (and POTS) flare lasting at least two hours. every single time i step out of the shower- no matter what temperature water i use, what products, etc nothing seems to stop the reactions. next step is getting a filtered showerhead i think, any opinions on @jolieskinco’s filter? #mcas #histamineintolerance #chronicillness #invisibleillness #mastcellactivationsyndrome
