One of the biggest misconceptions I hear from women: “I don’t want to lift heavy because I don’t want to get bulky.” But building muscle doesn’t automatically make you look bigger. Muscle is denser than body fat, meaning 5 lb of muscle takes up less space than 5 lb of fat. Just a note: the example shown in this video is exaggerated and isn’t an accurate representation of the actual size difference between 5 lb of muscle and 5 lb of fat. The principle is correct, but the visual difference wouldn’t be this dramatic. So when you build muscle while reducing body fat, you can actually weigh the same or even more while looking smaller and more defined. And that “toned” look so many women are chasing? There’s no special type of “toning” tissue it’s essentially having enough muscle to create shape and low enough body fat for that definition to show. So if your goal is to look lean, strong and defined, don’t be scared of muscle. It’s literally part of what creates the look you’re trying to achieve. Wearing @DFYNE Discount code: VERA
