WHY is dog boarding so expensive?!

DOGS LEGS If you just dropped your dogs off at boarding and you want to know why it's going to be so expensive and people who are watching this who are in the boarding industry, please back me up on this. I saw someone say that it is robbery what they are charging. So let's tell them what we actually do in the facilities that might cost so much money. There are people who are working there who need to be paid enough to want to be there doing things like being jumping dogs in their face, giving them fat lips. They are sitting on the floor giving your dogs food out of their hand because the dog isn't interested in eating. So they're doing everything they can to make that dog feel more comfortable. Not only is it a very dirty job, incredibly labour intensive. Physically demanding. They are peed on or get diarrhea on them. Or they have to be on top of the dog behavior, paying attention so they're going through ongoing training, which as a business owner, I can tell you that's very expensive. The business itself is very expensive. That's a whole different topic. The cleaning up diarrhea in the morning, cleaning all day long. And then the pet business owner, myself, is buying incredibly expensive, not clean, room. Something is expensive. Specifically animals. Also trying to disinfect because we're trying to make sure your dog doesn't get kennel cough. Okay. That's my rant for the day.
