This just moved to another level. The Commonwealth argued against the Supreme Judicial Court stepping in. The defense argued for immediate intervention. Both sides made their case. And then the justice said, essentially: “I’ve heard the arguments. I’ll step back and rule.” That means right now, we are waiting on a decision that could directly affect what happens next in the Lindsay Clancy case. After the 11–1 split.
