As summer is coming to a close in Minnesota I highly recommend checking out Bluefin Bay Resort in Tofte, MN. It's located on the shores of Lake Superior. It has plenty of room options for every budget. An outdoor pool and hot tub. Fireplaces in many of the rooms. Top of the line restaurants. Views that can't be beat. Tons and tons of waterfalls within a short hiking distance. And truly just some of the most beautiful scenery that North Shore Minnesota has to offer. While you're there I highly recommend driving to High Falls at the very northern part of Minnesota. This part of the river actually borders Minnesota and Canada and acts as the boundary line. It is absolutely stunning. The boardwalk is beautiful at night. The sunsets can not be beat. And truly this resort, although it is not the fanciest resort you could ever stay at, it is truly homey, comfortable, cozy and just one of the best parts of North Shore Minnesota.
