Why it worked

The video combines the popular 'flipping' content format with a clear demonstration of profit, making it aspirational. The use of the Swoopa app as the catalyst for finding the deal adds a practical, actionable element, encouraging viewers to check out the creator's profile for similar opportunities.

Summary

The creator buys a damaged BMW for $5,000, repairs it (including fixing an oil leak, valve cover, and replacing the rear window), and then sells it for a profit of over $2,000. The video highlights the process from purchase to sale, emphasizing the use of the Swoopa app to find the initial deal.

Structure

1Purchase the damaged BMW
2Repair the car (window, engine issues, cleaning)
3Take the car to emissions testing

Product placement

BMW (ACTS - the car is bought, repaired, and sold; removing it would change the video) Swoopa (ACTS - the app is used to find a deal, and is promoted at the end; removing it would change the video) John Deere (APPEARS - logo on shirt, incidental; removing it would not change the video) Milwaukee (APPEARS - logo on gloves, incidental; removing it would not change the video)
