Steal My Travel Itinerary OTTAWA What To See, Do & Eat with how much there is to see and do plus it made for one of the best international 4-day getaways and it's so easy to hop on a flight from New York City to Canada's capital that has the perfect mix of culture with an amazing diverse food scene that had me eating so good! And they have the coolest museums you can spend and all day exploring like the Canadian Museum of History that's home to the world's largest indoor collection of totem poles. Plus while you're visiting this amazing Canadian city, you can experience this incredible nature spa that's actually the largest spa in North America. Where you can go inside this underground saltwater floating pool that's designed to create the sensation of being completely weightless. And they have ten outdoor thermal baths, nine saunas, beautiful relaxation areas and plenty of dining options throughout the spa. I stayed at the beautiful Le Germain Hotel that's perfectly located within walking distance of so many must visit spots around the city. You could take this scenic boat cruise along the Ottawa River to see some of the city's most iconic Canadian landmarks. And there's also this free immersive Parliament experience that takes you inside the story of Centre Block and walk through an incredible 360 degree multimedia show. I definitely ate my way around the city, and Ottawa has such a good food scene. I made stops at this local Caribbean restaurant called Island Grill and I even had some elevated dining experiences like afternoon tea at Zoe's inside the Fairmont Château Laurier that was ranked amongst Canada's top 100 restaurants. Make sure to also stop for breakfast at The Hub Market Cafe that's a black-owned café and marketplace serving amazing pastries, coffee and specially curated iced beverages. Canada's capital ended up being one of those destinations that I absolutely fell in love with! So if you're planning you're next adventure Ottawa definitely deserves a spot on your travel list.
