We’ve been loving this little colour-sorting set from Ulanik, it's the rainbow egg and cups toy. It reminds me of the egg and spoon races we did at sports day at school in the 90s. She spends ages arranging the cups and balls, matching the colours and then putting all the little balls into the bowl. Her favourite part is using the spoons to scoop the balls out and transfer them between the bowl and the cups. She’ll repeat it over and over again ,and I honestly love watching how focused she gets when she’s playing. It’s such a simple, open-ended toy, but there are so many ways for her to use it. It encourages colour recognition, sorting, coordination, concentration and fine motor skills, while still just feeling like fun to her. for a sensory-seeking, busy toddler who usually wants to be EVERYWHERE doing EVERYTHING… the fact that this can hold her attention for a decent amount of time is a huge win in our house I think we’ve found a new favourite! 💕 GIFTED. #montessorikids #montessoriactivity #autismawareness #motherhood
