RESIGNATION LETTER
Dear Management,
I am writing to formally submit my resignation.
Not because the job was too hard.
I resign because, somehow, doing my job became easier than dealing with the people managing it.
I grew tired of being expected to stay loyal while being treated as replaceable, watching favoritism get rewarded while performance got ignored, being told to 'communicate' by people who never listened, and being asked to give 100% in an environment that barely gave basic respect.
You called it 'company culture.' We called it survival.
You called it 'being flexible.' We called it doing three people's jobs for one salary.
You called us 'family.' Funny how family suddenly becomes 'business' when employees ask for fair treatment.
So no, I am not leaving because I could not handle the pressure.
I am leaving because I finally realized that BEING GOOD AT SURVIVING A BAD WORKPLACE IS NOT A CAREER ACHIEVEMENT.
Maybe my position will be replaced next week. That is fine. But if good employees keep leaving and nothing changes, then eventually the vacancy is not the real problem.
MANAGEMENT IS.
Sincerely,
A. Professional
A Professional Who Finally Chose to Leave
P.S. My replacement deserves better too.
