The Lacey Diner This Unique Diner in Forked River, NJ is known for their insane creations like fried crumb cake, and crème brûlée oatmeal! Everything here is made from scratch, and most importantly made with care, you can really tell Chef Michelle has a passion for cooking, baking, and creating! Fried Crumb Cake?! The crispy pancakey coating on the outside of the rich warm crumb cake with vanilla icecream is absolutely heavenly. I have never liked oatmeal my entire life, but I am actually obsessed with their créme brûlée oatmeal! It has a sweet vanilla custard on top, berries, and the signature torched sugar! The pancake flight was perfect because I can never decide what to get! The avocado toast was LOADED, with the hot honey, goey egg and feta it was perfect. I tried their special of the week, the general pso’s chicken sandwhich. The sauce was spot on, the chicken was crispy, I really enjoyed the slaw it gave a lightness, and it was huge!
