Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo died in early March 2026. The first wave of posts did not agree on where he was or what happened. A UK inquest has now put a finding on the record. Ubiribo, 43, a British-Nigerian influencer also known as Denisi and Ego, was in Bangkok with his wife. He had a cosmetic enlargement procedure at an unnamed clinic using hyaluronic acid filler. Later that day he developed chest pain, collapsed during a massage, and was taken to Sukhumvit Hospital. He died in the early hours of March 6. The post-mortem found that the hyaluronic acid used in the injection had caused a fatal embolism. The 43-year-old businessman received 40 milliliters of hyaluronic acid mixed with lidocaine at an unnamed clinic in Bangkok in March. He was staying at a Marriott hotel with his wife, fashion designer Danielle Simba Allen. After the injection, the couple went for a massage. Ego complained of chest pain and collapsed twice. An ambulance took him to Sukhumvit Hospital, where he was initially able to speak. He told doctors about the filler, but lost consciousness before a CT scan could be carried out. Doctors diagnosed a pulmonary embolism, a clot blocking a blood vessel in the lungs, and moved him to intensive care. Medics performed CPR for more than 100 minutes.
