I hope this video can help atleast one person feel more confident in their decision to pursue engineering 🩵 Here’s my story from not thinking I could survive engineering (bc I almost failed gr9 math) to applying and going (and getting in academic distinction) and now looking back I regret all the time I spent convincing myself I wasn’t smart enough for engineering and giving into the fear mongering content. I always admired how engineers touch the pieces of innovation before the rest of the world sees it, but high school me thought it seemed too far out of reach. Now, I’m so happy I didn’t go into business. After only my first year in engineering, I’ve learned so many new ways of thinking that have changed how I look at problems, flows and ideas. There is so much beyond how good you are in school when it comes to being an engineer. With a little bit of dedication and stubborn belief, you can literally do anything!!! #engineering #womeninstem
