The reason practice cakes exist 🤣 A client asked me for a burnaway cake, so I decided to test one first using our wedding save-the-date. Everything was going perfectly until I held the lighter in one spot a little too long and burnt part of the date underneath! Thankfully I learnt this lesson and was able to give the client advice on how not to burn her cake at the door. She absolutely loved it by the way and all was fine that was the main thing 🤣 #bakingfails #bakersgonnabake #caketok #caketutorial #cakedecorating
