This month I made more than $2,900 from my art, which is pretty cool considering this started as a hobby and has slowly evolved into a very elaborate way of funding my own supply addiction. But the real achievement this month? I did not spend all of it on pastels. I know. Huge month for personal growth. Normally, the money goes something like: make art → sell art → receive money → immediately see a pastel I “need” → become financially irresponsible → repeat. But this month, I actually kept some of the money. Like, in my bank account. Where it just sits there, untouched, judging me. I did buy some art supplies, because let’s not get carried away. I’m still me. But for once, the pastel companies did not receive 100% of my earnings. Anyway, thank you to everyone who supports my art and, by extension, my increasingly specific collection of colored sticks. See you next month, assuming I don’t discover a new shade of blue.
