Courtesy of one of my lovely Karavanners (followers)! One of the crime-scene details I keep coming back to is Lindsay’s shoes beside and partly under the bed. Because look at the placement. They don’t look neatly kicked off. They don’t look like someone casually stepped out of them. One appears pushed or compressed under the bed, while the other sits beside it. And that has created a theory I keep seeing people work through: Were those shoes actually left there by Lindsay — or were they moved there later? The theory is that if Lindsay went out the window wearing only socks, the shoes become important. When were they removed? Why are they positioned like that? Would someone climbing onto or around that bed naturally leave them in those exact spots? And if the shoes were supposedly involved during a violent event, people are also asking why they appear relatively clean in the crime-scene photos. None of that proves somebody moved them. But the placement is strange enough that I think it deserves a closer look. Especially because once you start reconstructing the physical movement around that bedroom — the bed, the window, the shoes, what Lindsay was wearing — little details suddenly matter a LOT. This is one of those pieces where I don’t have a conclusion yet.
