Why it worked

The video pairs a highly relatable, humorous relationship trope with a visually engaging activity, making the brand feel like a natural part of the creator's lifestyle content.

Summary

A woman performs a comedic skit about jealousy while axe throwing at a Maniax venue. The video uses the venue's branding as the backdrop for the joke.

Structure

1Woman stands at an axe throwing lane
2Text appears on screen with common excuses
3Woman throws the axe at the target
4The video ends with a comedic punchline

Product placement

Maniax (a) it ACTS — the video takes place at a Maniax axe throwing venue, and the branding is visible on the target boards and the wall. Removing the branding would change the context of the location.
