And then. Today, my phone rang at 10 in the morning. This beautiful Brazilian woman was leaving Switzerland to come to Portugal, where she has already bought a house and is going to stay. She said to me on the phone: “A friend of mine, who follows you on Instagram, told me: Go and have your hair done by Duarte. You love volume, and he is a master of volume — and he doesn’t use straighteners.” She arrived looking absolutely stunning — a very interesting woman with an incredible look. I gave her a fully textured, choppy bob haircut, followed by a deep hydration treatment. And then, this voluminous hairstyle, created entirely with my hands and brushes. She was absolutely delighted and amazed by the result — and she has already booked her next appointment for next week. DM
