My client is paying me £600 a month to manage their social media. We are coming to the end of our first month together, so I'm going to tell you exactly what I've done for them for £600 so far. So first things first, we started off with a discovery call to chat through their business, their goals for growth, who their target audience is, what they want to do with their social media and where they envision it going. Once we had got to know each other a little bit on the discovery call, they'd asked me any questions that they needed, I found out everything that I needed to about their business. Then they signed the contract and sent the first invoice of £600. We got to work. So the first thing that I did was put together their in-depth strategy deck to basically outline everything that we'd said on the call, all of their goals and how we were actually going to achieve them together. First in the strategy deck, we have their social media goals, what the goal is that we discussed, how we're going to achieve it. Next, I do what's called a SWOT analysis. This is strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. These are all the things that could possibly come do with their business's social media that we might expect. Once I'd filled that out, usually we would move on to a social media audit which goes through their current social pages, what they're posting already, how that looks, what's working and what isn't. This particular client had no social media presence whatsoever, so things look a little bit different. We're starting from scratch. Next up, we deep dive into our target audience. So I go over primary, secondary, target audience and look, breakdown into each to look at what they can do with their business's social media. That, we can set ourselves apart from them, where we can learn from them. So I do a write up on three different competitors and then next into the content pillars and come up with specifics. Once I have outlined their content pillars, I then get to actually planning their content. Now I know exactly who I'm trying to target with what content in order to get the results that we need to hit those goals, hit the target audience, basically how I can everything that I've previously outlined. This client is doing my silver package which is £600 and that covers the management of two social media platforms. They have chosen TikTok and Instagram. So I do a monthly overview of the content we're going to post on TikTok. This includes four posts each platform. So I do a weekly breakdown for content week by week, content like them. So I've sent them the strategy deck and they have decided that they're happy with everything that I've put in there and we're 100% meets the goals that we discussed in our call. Let it in. They then let me know that they're happy with it and we booked in for a content shoot. So I then travelled to his location, which is about an hour away from where I live. I captured content in one day. We had a real laugh and we really got on and I always love this part because it's when I get my time and content days are always so much fun and he was really great in all of the content as well. So that was great. I've come home and I've been editing the content that we shot. I've been popping our notion client portal for him to review and approve. So far, so good, been everything that I've just started posting the content this week and I'm super excited for what the future holds with this client. So yeah, that's a little bit of insight and a ramble into what I actually do once you pay me that first invoice. So in case you've been thinking about getting a social media manager, what am I actually paying them for? It gives you a little bit of an idea.
