Here’s a bit of the process I use to create memory objects & transfer photos onto my handmade pottery! I made a pair of thumb cups with my sister’s wedding photos and they turned out so cute. ✨📷 1. Find an old printer with a toner that has a high enough concentration of iron oxide in the toner. 2. Print your images on water slide paper that is compatible with your printer. I like to adjust the contrast on the photos in grayscale before printing. 3. Cut out the images and soak in warm water for 30-60 seconds until the image separates from the backing. 4. Place the images on glazed pottery and use a dry sponge to remove water and smooth out any creases. 5. Dry completely overnight and then fire for a third time to cone 06.
