Transcript

Welcome back to another episode of I don't know how to cook for real but I want to get married. Today we're making chicken pot pie with cheddar bay biscuits on top. Yes, you heard me. We're putting the cheddar bay biscuits on top of our chicken pot pie. So don't be shy with the chicken. I took two thick chicken breasts and cut them in half. Remember, this is called chicken pot pie, not just pie. So don't be shy with the chicken. Y'all saw the seasonings I used, but season them like you want. Then you're gonna go ahead and chop you up some celery. When you're done doing that, put your celery aside. Get you a pan, get you some butter and start cooking your chicken. And if you don't want to cook chicken, go get you some celery chicken friends. Take your chicken out and in that same pan, we're gonna put more butter. Then we're gonna put in our onion, celery and minced garlic. Do like Handa Montana, mix it all together and slowly pour in 1/3 cup of flour. And please do it slowly. Y'all saw I made a mistake and put too much at one time. Then we're gonna put in 2 cups of chicken broth and 2 cups of heavy whipping cream. For our seasonings, we're just gonna use the same seasonings we used for the chicken. Next, I put in some frozen vegetables and shredded my chicken off camera and put that in. Then we're gonna put in some frozen vegetables and shredded my chicken off camera and put that in. I mixed the cheddar bay biscuits off camera, then I put it on top and put it in the oven. Bam!
