The 11 Jurors Were for Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity This is a HUGE clarification. Kevin Reddington has now confirmed that the reported 11–1 jury split was not simply “not guilty.” It was 11 jurors for NOT GUILTY BY REASON OF INSANITY. That matters. A lot. Because it tells us where the overwhelming majority of that jury landed on Lindsay Clancy’s criminal responsibility. Eleven jurors were prepared to say she was not criminally responsible because of insanity. One juror was not. And that one juror prevented a unanimous verdict. So when people keep reducing this to “the jury couldn’t decide,” that really doesn’t capture what happened. According to Reddington, eleven of twelve had reached the same conclusion. That changes the way this mistrial needs to be discussed. #LindsayClancy #KevinReddington #lindsayclancycase #lindsayClancyTrial #CourtTok

There is a lot of back and forth with the judge about the jury, the final split was 11 to 1. Was that in favor as far as you know of not guilty by reason of insanity. I believe so. Yeah.
