At the 9/11 Memorial in Lower Manhattan, the names of nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives are inscribed around the two reflecting pools where the Twin Towers once stood. Nearby, the Survivor Tree continues to grow — a powerful symbol of resilience, hope and healing. 🌳 This year marks 25 years since September 11, 2001. 25 years later, we remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the courage of so many people during one of the darkest days in American history. 🕊️ New York is one of our favorite cities to explore as a family, but places like this remind us that travel isn't only about seeing beautiful places.
