Ep 2: Your Content Playdate 🎨📱 This week we’re creating a mini vlog… And before you say, “But Shannon, my life isn’t interesting enough to vlog…” A vlog does NOT have to be an entire day in your life…also, I didn’t even leave the house in my most recent vlogs so there ya go! And here’s the part I really want you to understand 👉 Your voiceover does not have to narrate exactly what’s happening on screen. Instead, use the voiceover to tell us what the footage can’t. And no, you don’t need every shot I showed you! Think of them as a menu of ideas, not a checklist. Pick the clips that help tell YOUR story. REMEMBER: you don’t need an exciting life to make a vlog…you just need a few visual moments and a reason for us to come along 🤝 SIDE NOTE: Once done editing be sure to add closed captions and a hook in the first 3 seconds that provides context. Ex: “Let’s get me out of a creative funk as a content creator and mom of 2” Soooo same time next week for another Content Playdate? 🎨 YAY!
