𝐀 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐊 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 | 𝐄𝐩. 𝟏 👩🏻‍❤️‍👨🏻💻✨ Wow, may bago na naman siyang amats. 😂 It took a lot of lambing and bargaining para mapapayag siyang humarap sa camera. Mostly nakatago pa rin ang face niya, pero okay na ’yun, at least may cameo na. 😂 𝘼 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙤𝙣 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙒𝙁𝙃 𝙟𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙙... Back in 2022, pareho kaming corporate world. I was in finance, while he was in healthcare. Super hassle ng schedules namin kasi 100% onsite siya, while I was hybrid. Then we came across a TikTok video about "Shopify Product Listing." Na-curious kami, so we watched YouTube tutorials and learned about the role, the tools, and the usual workflow. We created a Fiverr account and started offering remote services. Wala kaming previous experience at first, but we made sure na alam namin kung paano gawin ang tasks before accepting any project. We were honest with clients but confident na we could deliver accurately, on time, and without needing extensive training. Fiverr eventually became the place where I found my direct clients then and now. Then another client came in, and my partner decided to take freelancing full-time. Teamwork talaga: I did the interviews; he did the work. While I still had my full-time corporate job, I also worked as an SMM during my free time. Kapag hindi ko na kaya ang workload, siya ang tumutulong sa akin. I outsource him. Slowly, dumami nang dumami ang clients namin. By December 2023, I finally left my long-term corporate job and became a full-time virtual assistant. Sobrang grateful lang namin because some of our clients from years ago are still with us today. May mga clients na nawawala, may bumabalik, may biglang lumilitaw, but thankfully, hindi kami nababakante. When we look back at our old work setup, napapa “Thank you, Lord” na lang talaga kami. Mas magaan ang life ngayon. Hindi na opposite ang schedules namin; we get to build our careers together, work while traveling, provide more for our families, and most importantly, we have more time for each other. Okay, enough na ang drama.
