SAVE THIS 🔥👇🏻 because this is how you stop turning decluttering into an all-day freaking event. Do you ever start decluttering feeling SO motivated… …and then 45 minutes later you’re sitting on the floor surrounded by piles thinking: “Why did I even start this?” Decision fatigue. Overwhelm. Too many choices. And suddenly you just want to shove everything back where it came from and deal with it another day. 😅 You’re not bad at decluttering. You’re just making it way harder than it needs to be.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 This is EXACTLY why I use the JACK method. My dad Jack was the ultimate ruthless declutterer & he taught me from a super young age how to keep clutter from completely taking over your life. Here’s how I do it: 1.) GET RUTHLESS FIRST. Before you start moving stuff around, decide what actually deserves to stay in your home. No “maybe I’ll use this someday.” No “but I spent money on it.” If it doesn’t make you happy or make your life easier? Buh bye. ✅(PSST — Head to the link in my bio for my free 7-day decluttering challenge!) 2.) START INSANELY SMALL. Do NOT walk into the most cluttered room in your house and decide today is the day you’re gonna tackle the entire thing. 😂 Pick ONE drawer. ONE cabinet. ONE tiny area. You need a win before you need a challenge. 3.) BUILD MOMENTUM. This is why I declutter in 30 minute chunks. “Rome wasn’t built in a day” my dad used to say. You do not need an entire weekend. You do not need 8 trash bags lined up in your hallway. You need 30 minutes, make some decisions, get out & come back tomorrow. 4.) STOP WINGING IT. If every time you declutter you think… “Ok what should I do next?” …you’re already wasting brain power. Have a plan. Know where you’re starting & what comes next. Decluttering doesn’t have to feel like some giant overwhelming project hanging over your head. It’s actually pretty freaking easy when you stop trying to do everything at once. 😉 Decluttering doesn't have to be hard, especially if you do it my way. I just created a free 7-day decluttering challenge that's going to walk you through 7 days of 30-minute bite-size decluttering sessions to kickstart your decluttering journey. No overwhelming vibes. No all-weekend declutter-a-thons. Just pure peace. Head to the link in my bio for my free 7-day decluttering challenge.
