For more check out the next clip on why we mis them in this specific order... 1. Water Prep * Fill your reservoir with water. * If using tap water, let it sit out to dechlorinate, or ensure it is filtered. 2. Silica 🧪 * Add this first. Silica has a very high pH and will precipitate instantly if it comes into contact with other concentrated nutrients. * Mix it thoroughly into the water and wait 5 to 10 minutes to let it fully dissolve before adding anything else. 3. Cal-Mag 🥦 * Add this second. Calcium and magnesium need to be fully diluted before the base nutrients are introduced to prevent calcium fallout. * Stir thoroughly. 4. Nutrients Base (Micro, Grow, Bloom) 🧪 * Advanced Nutrients "3-Part" must never be mixed together in concentrated form. Add them one by one to the water and stir completely between each. * Order matters: 1. Add Micro first and stir. 2. Add Grow second and stir. 3. Add Bloom third and stir. 5. Phosphorus/Potassium (PK) Booster 🌸 * Add this last out of your nutrients. * Highly concentrated PK boosters should only go into the reservoir once all the base elements are fully diluted. Stir well. 6. pH and EC/PPM Check 📊 * Let the mix sit for a few minutes. * Test your PPM/EC to ensure the strength is correct for your plant's growth stage. * Adjust pH last. Even though Advanced Nutrients has "pH Perfect" technology, adding other brands (like Bloom City) can throw it off. Check your pH and adjust it to your target range (typically 5.5–6.5 depending on your medium). #GreenThumb #fertilizer #plantfood #growyourown #botany
