Why it worked

The video taps into a relatable sentiment for childfree individuals, presenting a strong, albeit controversial, opinion that resonates with a specific audience. The confident and assertive delivery, combined with the 'flex' framing, likely contributed to its shareability.

Summary

The creator argues that not having children is a significant advantage, allowing for a more flexible and expensive lifestyle without the same pressures and responsibilities as parents. They contrast this with parents who they claim often struggle financially and do not fully parent their children.

Structure

1No kids is a flex
2Parents complain about childfree people
3Childfree people have more freedom and money
4Parents don't parent their kids well
5Childfree people are the 'rich uncles/aunties'

You got these motherfuckers with kids that be talking about us people with no kids, talking about some having no kids is not a flex. I mean, it's a big flex. It's definitely a flex because we don't have to go as hard as y'all do. We just choose to because we want to live an expensive lifestyle and we expensive, it costs too much. That's why. And on top of all that, majority of us work harder than y'all work anyway. Half y'all, the majority of y'all don't even take care of y'all motherfucking kids. I just give them motherfucking phone or iPad some shit and just leave them the fuck alone. Let them see whatever let them do whatever y'all bad. Y'all kids, y'all kids friends. But y'all got the nerve to sit up here and talk about us and saying like that, having no kids is not a flex. It's an economy and and the way this real is, it most definitely is a flex. We could restart as many times as we want. We ain't got no village, we are the village. And then on top of that, it just don't make sense for us to have them like having no kids is definitely a flex. Cuz wake up and go as we please, we could leave as we please. We ain't got to go as hard. We could restart as many times as we want with no repercussions. Type of shit. Somebody got to be the rich uncles and aunties and it just rather be us. So not having kids is definitely a flex. Cuz wake up and go as we please. We could leave as we please. We ain't got to go as hard. We could restart as many times as we want.
