smashed hash brown loaded potato skins 🫶 1 (24 oz) bag frozen hash brown patties (I use McCain brand) shredded cheddar cheese bacon bits Chopped jalapeno Sliced scallions Bbq sauce (I use Stubb’s Spicy) ranch dressing (I use Ken’s) Heat the oven to 450°F. Arrange the frozen hash brown patties on a rimmed sheet pan and bake for about 10 minutes. Take them out and use the back of a small measuring cup or spoon to gently press a slight indentation into the center of each hash brown. You’re not trying to totally flatten them, just making a little spot for all the toppings (it’s fine if the break apart just a little bit since you’re covering with cheese but try to keep them in tact as much as possible.) Put them back in the oven for another 5 minutes to get nice and crispy. Top each hash brown with cheese and return to the oven just until the cheese is melted and bubbling. Finish with bacon bits, chopped fresh jalapeño and scallions. Mix equal parts BBQ sauce and ranch dressing and drizzle it on top. #gamedaysnacks #EasyRecipe #FoodTok #potatoskins #recipeoftheday
