Grey Goose Honey Deuce

Why it worked

The video leverages a popular event (US Open) and a specific, highly recognizable branded experience (the Honey Deuce) to create a lifestyle-focused, aspirational narrative that feels like a genuine recommendation rather than a traditional advertisement.

Summary

A tennis coach provides a three-step guide for post-match activities, which centers on visiting the Grey Goose Last Serve Bar at Grand Central to enjoy a Grey Goose Honey Deuce cocktail. The video is a branded partnership promoting the cocktail experience during the US Open.

Structure

1Introduction to the post-match playbook
2Rule 1: Visit the Grey Goose Last Serve Bar
3Rule 2: Order the Honey Deuce cocktail
4Rule 3: Toast with a partner
5Closing brand statement

Product placement

Grey Goose (a) ACTS: The video demonstrates the preparation and consumption of the Grey Goose Honey Deuce cocktail at the Grey Goose Last Serve Bar. The brand is the central focus of the video, and removing it would entirely change the content. US Open (b) APPEARS: The event is the setting for the brand activation; removing it would change the context but not the product being promoted.
