New at LAX: eligible non-flyers can now apply to go past airport security and access the gate area under TSA’s new Gateside by TSA PreCheck program. ✈️ Approved visitors may be able to accompany departing passengers to the gate or meet arriving travelers inside the secure area — but advance application, approval, valid ID, and TSA screening are still required.
