🍅 MY TOMATO SEEDLINGS ARE TAKING OFF! I’ve been trimming back the lower stems while the plants were young to help encourage strong upward growth, but now they’ve reached a good height, I’m going to let them grow as big and wild as they want! The homemade tomato cages I’ve made are already making a huge difference. They keep the plants supported and contained as they get bigger, without me constantly having to stake and tie everything upright. I planted my tomatoes early this season because last year I got caught out planting too late, so this year I wanted to get ahead of the curve and hopefully get a much bigger and longer harvest.
