If your relationship is truly from God, it may still face these 10 tests. A God-centered relationship isn’t one without problems. It’s one where both people choose God through the problems. 1. The test of patience God may make you wait instead of rushing the relationship. “Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart!” - Psalm 27:14 2. The test of communication Can you talk through conflict without tearing each other down? “Let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger.” — James 1:19 3. The test of forgiveness You’ll both make mistakes. Can you extend grace while still pursuing growth? “Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” - Colossians 3:13 4. The test of temptation Will you protect your relationship when something-or someone-tries to pull you away? “Flee from sexual immorality.” — 1 Corinthians 6:18 5. The test of boundaries Can you honor God even when boundaries require sacrifice? “Flee from youthful passions.” - 2 Timothy 2:22 6. The test of disagreement You won’t always see things the same way. Can you disagree without disrespect? “Love is patient, love is kind.” - 1 Corinthians 13:4 7. The test of seasons There may be seasons where life gets difficult, finances get tight, or emotions feel distant. Will you still choose each other? “Two are better than one... If either of them falls, one can help the other up.” - Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 8. The test of priorities Is Jesus still at the center, or has the relationship become your entire world? “Seek first the kingdom of God.” - Matthew 6:33 9. The test of sacrifice Real love requires putting selfishness aside and serving one another. “Do nothing out of selfish ambition... but in humility consider others more important than yourselves.” — Philippians 2:3 10. The test of faithfulness When the excitement fades, will you still choose commitment, honesty, and Christ? “Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” - 1 John 3:18 Remember: A relationship being from God doesn’t mean it will be effortless.
