Why it worked

The video effectively combines a relatable "shopping with me" format with a clear, actionable promotion for a widely accessible product at a popular retailer. The creator's enthusiasm and the mention of a discount through a popular app like Ibotta likely drove engagement.

Summary

The creator takes viewers on a shopping trip to Walmart to showcase affordable body care options, specifically highlighting Degree deodorant. They mention a promotion available through the Ibotta app for $1.50 off Degree products and encourage viewers to shop at Walmart.

Structure

1Introduction outside Walmart
2Entering Walmart and mentioning body care
3Partnering with Degree for a promotion
4Highlighting Degree deodorant options and benefits
5Call to action to shop at Walmart and use Ibotta

Product placement

Walmart (store): APPEARS - a corner watermark, removing it would not change what happens in the video. Degree (deodorant): ACTS - the interface is operated (picked up and shown), visible result (product is shown as an option for purchase), someone says what it does for them (72 hours of sweat and odor resistance, protection against sweat, odor, and clothing stains). Removing it would change what happens in the video. Ibotta (app): ACTS - its interface is operated (mentioned as a way to get a discount), someone says what it does for them (get $1.50 off 1 Degree product). Removing it would change what happens in the video.
